Prestage Farms, Inc. Clinton, NC 11,000 SF Turkey Hatchery Addition Addition to an existing commercial hatchery to accommodate additional single-stage incubation and hatching equipment. This project included new independent mechanical and electrical support systems for the addition area and new maintenance space for the entire facility. Addition was constructed while keeping the existing facility in full operation. HVAC systems used were double-walled rooftop package units with DX cooling with propane heat and washable welded aluminum ductwork. Differential pressure control for incubation and hatching equipment provided by automatic variable speed exhaust fans. Incubation and hatching equipment required air-cooled chilled water cooling and propane fired hot water heating. L. B.
